Let the Shopping Begin!

For those of us who haven't finished (or started) our Christmas shopping, the hunt is on. The hunt, that is, for the perfect gift(s) for everyone on our lists. Good luck to everyone on this quest. Here's a few tips and thing to help you out.

Shop sales:
Of course, most of us do this already but if you don't then it's definitely a way to save a few bucks.

Set limits:
If you're buying gifts for people you know are buying for you too, get together with them and set a spending limit for gifts. This will keep anyone from going overboard and making others feel bad for making less expensive purchases.

Shop online:
Save the gas and the headache of fighting the crowds by doing some shopping online. You may also luck out and find some awesome deals online. For example, I just found the vtech baby vsmile on walmart.com for $29.92 with $0.97 shipping charge. In the store it is still just under $40. Might not sound like a ton of savings, but every extra dollar helps.

Stay calm:
No matter how or where you shop, stay calm and be nice. Remind yourself what we're really celebrating here and hold that thought with you as you shop.
